Making t-shirts yourself

Writer's picture: Chance4CharlieChance4Charlie

We have made a teemill site to buy Chance4Charlie clothes and tote bags to help raise money and awareness. We do get a donation from each item brought on teemill, they look professional and they save us time and money, as teemill makes all the merchandise. www.chance4charlie.teemill.com

However if you are doing an event or want to help raise awareness but the teemill is a little pricey for you (the prices are set) then why not make your own with a group of friends? Here is how:

You will need:

1. Chance4Charlie transfer logos.

(The transfer logos can be found on the 'fundraising materials' page of the Chance4Charlie website. www.chance4charlie.com/fundraising-material)

2. Iron on transfer printer paper.

3. Something to add the logo to; A t-shirt, jumper, tote bag etc.

4. Printer.

5. Scissors.

6. Iron & ironing board.

Step one: Download the chance4charlie transfer logo's of your choice.

The transfer logos can be found on the 'fundraising materials' page of the Chance4Charlie website.

Step two: Read the instructions of your iron on transfer paper.

Step three: Print off the Chance4Charlie transfer logos on the correct side of your transfer paper and leave to dry for 5 minutes.

Step four: Whilst your logos are drying, iron the t-shirt or tote.

Step five: Cut around your logo.

Step six: Place the transfer logos on your t-shirt, tote etc, with the back of the transfer visable.

Step seven: Make sure your steam function on your iron is off and iron evenly over the transfer.

Step eight: leave for a minute or so and then peel the backing off your transfer paper and your finished!

The transfer logos can be found on the 'fundraising materials' page of the Chance4Charlie website.
