Whilst still experiencing surgical pain, dizziness and nausea, Charlie continues to make good progress which the doctors and surgeons are very pleased with. She can now turn onto her sides with little to no assistance, sit up and walk a couple of meters which is great for numerous reasons, particularly as it relieves pressure on her wound and helps rebuilding strength in her legs. She has been eating a little too, including some soup, jelly and yoghurts as well as drinking water. Her catheter has also been removed. She is still adjusting to the strangeness, heaviness and the new limited range of mobility of her neck which will, of course, take a long time.
Once again, thank you all for your continued support and love,
